Biography

I am a third year PhD student at the UC Berkeley School of Information. I am advised by Joshua Blumenstock, and funded by a Berkeley Fellowship.

My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and development economics, with a focus on the use of large, granular datasets to study human behaviour.

Before coming to UC Berkeley, I was a research manager at IFMR LEAD where I collaborated with academic researchers to design and implement randomized controlled trials, and was a research assistant for Profs. Rohini Pande and Erica Field. I completed my MA in Development Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
